Hey again! Welcome back to another week's blog. This time around I will be talking about something everybody loves......FOOOOOOD! At Lewis and Clark, there are many different options for food, snacks, drinks, or even groceries. I will first start off with the main (and huge) dining hall which is Fields Dining Hall.
Pictured above is Fields Dining Hall and this is where breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served. To enter into the dining hall, you need to swipe with your student ID. You can either use a meal swipe, flex points, or real money to enter. Once inside, you have a wide variety of selections such as a salad bar, cereal bar, toast bar, dessert bar, and multiple choices for the meal that you are eating. During the week, the dining hall serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and on the weekends they only serve brunch, and dinner. For all meals you can serve yourself and you can eat as much as you want! They also have coffee, tea, juice, soda, and water which you can get an unlimited amount of as well.
The second place I will be talking about is Maggie's. Maggie's is a great place to go if you would like coffee, tea, a sandwich, or a pastry. They also have groceries such as eggs, milk, ice cream, and many other things. Maggie's is also open late everyday so it's a great place to go if you are hungry late at night.
The third place on my list is the Dovecote. The Dovecote is more of a cafe where they serve coffee, tea, iced coffee, pastries, and breakfast sandwiches. The Dovecote is a great place to go if you have an early class and aren't able to make it to the dining hall for breakfast. I personally go to the Dovecote everyday for a cup of coffee!
The last place on my list is the trail room aka the "troom". The trail room is only open for lunch during the weekdays but they have things such as burgers, pizza, and sandwiches. The pizza and burgers are really good and I have yet to try the sandwiches!
